Opened in December 2012, and located on Mano it’s not too far from the town; 5 minutes on a bicycle which is provided at the hotel, or the scheduled shuttle service. All staff in the hotel are friendly, warm welcome, alert and helpful, and the surrounds are simple, beautifully presented and quiet.
There are 16 deluxe rooms designed with clean lines and white walls. They’re simple and uncontroversial. Slatted wood and neutral beige, brown and grey tones warm up and soften the space. The bathrooms are modern, with a rain shower and good lighting (a luxury when it comes to accommodations in Luang Prabang). All rooms have their own small balcony or terrace that overlooks the swimming pool.
Make yourself at home in one of the guestrooms featuring minibars and flat-screen televisions. Cable television is provided for your entertainment. Bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers feature jetted bathtubs and hair dryers. Conveniences include safes and coffee/tea makers, and you can also request irons/ironing boards.
The hotel is located in the heart of the world heritage zone of Luang Prabang, 3 Nagas’ three century-old buildings are all protected by UNESCO. Le Sen is located a leisurely 15 minute walk from Luang Prabang’s Old Quarter and night market.
FOOD & DRINK
Le Sen’s restaurant (with room service) serves both western and Lao fare, including a must-try traditional buffalo lab, luxuriant with local aromatics and herbs. A new lounge, ideal for chilling and sipping a cocktail, is just newly opened.
Guests can relax by the outdoor swimming pool and the atmospheric restaurant in the evenings. Bicycles can be rented from the hotel if you wish to explore independently.
It is also one of the few Luang Prabang hotels with an air-conditioned gym. It’s equipped with stationary bikes, a treadmill, weights and a basic circuit-training machine.
