The Jahan

The Jahan features 26 beautifully-designed cabins on three decks, each with its own private balcony. This cruise offers the luxury and attention to detail of a boutique hotel with the leisurely pace of a river cruise. You will have an extraordinary new riverboat that offers a level of luxury previously unavailable on the Mekong.

With 26 spacious cabins, each at 300 square feet, the Jahan is a beautifully crafted vessel combining French colonial style with an aura of the Far East. All rooms boast unrestricted views, private balconies and air-conditioning. Featuring soft hued wood and colonial style furnishings, they offer a timeless grace that harks back to the golden age of cruising, yet encompasses modern amenities. Contemporary conveniences include a music entertainment system and well-stocked mini bar. Suites have their own private Jacuzzis for the ultimate indulgence after a day of culture, cuisine and sightseeing.

Every cabin is air-conditioned with a thermostat. In every room you’ll find modern, stylish facilities, including a minibar with refrigerator. Bedding is luxurious cotton, and when you return from exploring you’ll find an attentive hotel staff has made up your room. The two available suites are the largest and most luxurious rooms, each with a private Jacuzzi and queen-sized bed

The Jahan cruise operates cruises on Mekong River, upstream from Saigon to Siem Reap Cambodia and downstream from Siem Reap back to Saigon Vietnam. The cruises stop at certain places on the way for your sight-seeing and other activities. Exploring Vietnam and Cambodia along the Mekong River offers access to traditional villages as well as bustling cities, for a panoramic and immersive experience of these two very different countries.

The fine dining restaurant on board offers authentic food from the areas. Menus change daily of course, with either buffet meals or choices of your own. All meals are included on cruises.

Bottled water is provided the whole cruise. Other drinks are at your own expense. There are two bars: one in the dining room and one on the sundeck by the pool. Reusable water bottles are available, and a pitcher of water is placed in your cabin each day.

Along with cultural seminars and excursions guests can indulge in morning Tai Chi or sit back with a good book in the library. DVD and IPod players are also available. There is a spacious sundeck as well as a small spa for ultimate relaxation and a relaxing bar area perfect for a sundowner before enjoying dinner onboard. On the sundeck there is an observatory together with the Apsara Spa. You can always have a dip in the water of sundeck pool while ordering a cocktail from the Funnel Bar. There is also a boutique shop and a Fitness/ Steam Sauna available on board.

Each cabin bathroom is stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and lotion. Hair dryers are also available.
