The Plantation Hotel

Multiple-award winner The Plantation has more going for it than location – behind the Royal Palace, in what is inevitably, and correctly, described as the “historic heart” of Phnom Penh; it has grounds covering half a hectare, two swimming pools, and all the other amenities you’d expect of a top-notch 70-room establishment, named by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the world’s top 121 hotels.

The rooms vary in size and location, they are simple yet comfortable with all the amenities you would expect of a small hotel. The stunning 2 bedroom roof top suite is the best room in the hotel and comparable in price to the lowest room categories at more expensive resorts.

  • Their rooftop suite: Giding over Phnom Penh historic quarter. Spread over 200 sq m, the penthouse boasts three terraces, a private bar, an open-air BBQ station, a Jacuzzi, one separated master bedroom and a large living room, each with its own bathroom.

  • Deluxe Studio: Suite-like accommodation in their new building.

The Plantation is located immediately behind the Royal Palace, in Phnom Penh’s historic Royal Quarter. The hotel is within walking distance to the National Museum, Wat Botum (Royal Pagoda), the riverside with its bustling nightlife and the city’s popular shopping and dining area, Street 240.
